The Grosse Pointe Unitarian Church Resale Shop generates funds for the church and for other charitable organizations in our community. We appreciate the continued support we receive from our donors and consigners.
Please observe the following guidelines when bringing items to our Shop.

Due to limited space, we ask that donations and consignments be contained in
two small cardboard boxes OR two plastic bags no larger than 13-gallon kitchen bags OR two Trader Joe bags,
be clean and undamaged and fall within the following categories:

- Household and kitchen items
- Linens
- Small appliances
- Books (donations only; no textbooks)
- Small pieces of furniture
- Jewelry
- Decorative items
- Gently used clothing - clean; folded; no stains, holes or tears

PLEASE – NO LARGE TRASH BAGS OR HEAVY CONTAINERS

We do not accept children's items, electronic or exercise equipment, computers or computer equipment, printers, large pieces of furniture or TVs.
Consignments should be labeled with the consigner’s name securely fastened to the outside of the container before bringing it to the Shop.
We reserve the right to discard any items that are determined to be in unsalable condition without notification to the donor/consigner.
We accept items on Wednesdays from 9 am – 2 pm only. Please do not leave items outside the Shop doors.
Consignment checks are mailed from Chase Bank Billpay every three months. Billpay checks must be cashed within 90 days of issue. A consigner's balance is carried until a check for $5 can be issued. Items not sold within three months become the property of the Shop (unless the client retrieves them) and are sent to the Clearance Corner.
